This notice explains how Floray Professionals Limited ("Floray", "we") handles information when you use floraypro.com, the Floray Toolkit, the Business Plan Builder and Floray accounts. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
The free tools
The calculators, checks and games run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us. Results, badges and your passport are stored only on your device (in your browser's local storage) and you can clear them at any time from the passport page.
Your Floray account
When you create an account we store your name, email, phone number and business name if you give them, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and the dates you joined and last signed in.
Inside your account you can keep:
- Money records: income, spending, budgets, savings goals, assets and debts you enter or import from a bank CSV file.
- Business plans you build and save.
These are private to you. Floray staff do not see your money records. A business plan becomes visible to the Floray team only if you press "Ask Floray to review", and you can stop sharing it at any time.
Messages you send us
When you use the contact form or a practice form, we store your name, contact details and message so our team can reply, and we may email you a copy.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is removed when you sign out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The tools use your browser's local storage, as described above.
Who we share data with
We use trusted providers to run the service: website hosting, a database provider and, when switched on, an email delivery provider. They process data only on our instructions. We do not sell your data. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account (Account page in your dashboard), your money records, goals, net worth items, business plans and sign-in sessions are deleted. Enquiries are kept for up to two years so we can follow up on engagements.
Security
Passwords are hashed with scrypt, sessions use random tokens stored only as hashes, and all traffic uses HTTPS. No system is perfect, but we work to protect your information from loss and misuse.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can export your money records and delete your account yourself from your dashboard. For anything else, email info@floraypro.com.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version below.
